Description
The STAR Apollo Mapping System is an advanced AF mapping software system that presents an automated summary, characterizing AF activation patterns to allow the physician to identify the most frequent AF origin sites. These are identified as Early Sites of Activation and Repetitive Patterns of Activation in patients undergoing a cardiac mapping procedure for Atrial Fibrillation. The STAR Apollo Mapping System is specifically designed for, and uses export data from the Ensite Precision or Ensite X EP system (Abbott Medical) which has been collected with the Advisor™ HD Grid Mapping Catheter, Sensor Enabled™ (Abbott Medical). The STAR Apollo map will superimpose its analysis onto the geometry created by the physician, on the Ensite mapping system, giving them more information about that patient's AF. Physicians can use this information to interrogate and if appropriate, treat regions of interest identified by the STAR Apollo Mapping System.
