Summary
SomaMethyl is a methylation analysis solution developed by Agilent, designed to enhance liquid biopsy applications in oncology by integrating Agilent's proprietary Methylation Index algorithm into SeqOne's bioinformatics platform, focusing on Minimal Residual Disease detection.
Description
SomaMethyl is a methylation analysis solution developed by Agilent, designed to enhance liquid biopsy applications in oncology by integrating Agilent's proprietary Methylation Index algorithm into SeqOne's bioinformatics platform, focusing on Minimal Residual Disease detection. It offers rapid and accurate methyl-seq data analysis, providing a streamlined, end-to-end workflow from sample processing to final report generation. Initially, it supports oncology applications using the Agilent Avida Methyl 3400 DMR Cancer Panel, covering approximately 3,400 differentially methylated regions associated with tumor-specific methylation patterns that distinguish tumor-derived DNA from normal cfDNA. Future expansions are planned to support custom methylation panels and cohort analysis. This collaboration aims to equip molecular labs with a seamless, optimized end-to-end workflow for in-house genomic and epigenomic liquid biopsy testing, empowering laboratories and clinical research institutions by simplifying complex data interpretation and accelerating the journey from sample to actionable insights, ultimately supporting improved decision-making in oncology care.

User Reviews
- The best thing about the Agilent software is the ease of use they are giving.
- Ability to run partial sequences as well as full sequences with post-run macros.
- The best part of the openlab software is that it helps us to use advance auto integration method which is so precise and user-friendly. We can use various parameters like shouldering, tangent and it's auto integrate perfectly.
