• My overall experience has been very good. I am a detail oriented person and I enjoy the extent of coverage Epic provides. The learning curve can be steep and confusing to begin with for the same reason. The new addition of AI assistant is a very nice feature and helpful.
• Comprehensive EHR and very easy to use and improves patient outcomes.
• Epic allows for complete documentation of a patient’s medical history, lab results, medications, procedures, and visit notes, all in one unified platform. With Epic's Care Everywhere feature, patient data can be securely exchanged with other healthcare providers who also use Epic or compatible systems, improving continuity of care.
• How reliable the resources are and how many different resources that are available
• Great for medical records since we were getting rid of paper filing
• It is a widely adopted EHR system across many healthcare organizations within USA, so exchanging data becomes a little easier.
• There is a lot going on in the Epic MyChart system. The learning curve can feel a bit steep and overwhelming in the beginning, until you get a hang of it in couple of months.
