Summary
Fitbit's Loss of Pulse Detection is a feature on Pixel Watch 3 that detects when a user's heart stops beating and automatically contacts emergency services if the user is unresponsive.
Description
Loss of Pulse Detection is a software application from Fitbit designed to analyze pulse data collected by consumer wrist-worn devices to detect possible loss of pulse events. When such events are detected, it alerts the user with audio, visual, and haptic signals, and can prompt an emergency call if the user does not respond. This helps in early identification of critical cardiac events, improving patient safety by notifying potential emergencies.

User Reviews
- I use Fitbit myself, and with patients. Monitoring heart rate, oxygen level, and activity/sleep with only one small wrist worn device is highly beneficial. Newer Fitbit models are equipped with EDA scan and ECG. It can identify and alert to AFIB. I was not satisfied with the alarm feature. I had intended on using it as my daily alarm as well as a reminder later in the day. The vibration is weak! If I don't have the device synched down as tight as I can, I don't feel the alarm at all. The alarms cannot be named, making them not as useful as they could be.
- I like the step tracking function as I use this daily to link with my GoVida App. I also like the menstrual tracking as I find it to be very accurate. I use the heart rate fitness tracker as well although I'm not sure how accurate this is as it seems to vary quite a bit during the day but I like that it gives me an indication of my cardiac health based on my age and sex.
- I have had a fantastic experience with Kareo. The sales team and implementation team have been incredibly responsive and helpful.
- I appreciate the Fitbit as it helps me keep track of my daily activity. Having it has made me more vigilant about my health.
