Initially launched during the COVID-19 pandemic, Icolung received CE marking for clinical use in Europe on April 23, 2020, and was permitted for clinical use in the U.S. during the public health emergency related to COVID-19. It is currently offered pro bono worldwide. Icolung has been integrated into over 75 clinical practices across 17 countries, supporting clinicians in the rapid assessment and triage of COVID-19 patients. The software is available in English and other languages, with deployment options including integration via AI marketplace or distribution platform.
