Description
IB Neuro is an MRI perfusion analysis platform developed by Imaging Biometrics. It generates quantitative relative cerebral blood volume (rCBV) maps, aiding in brain tumor assessment and treatment planning. The platform is FDA-cleared and has been validated with tissue samples, demonstrating superior accuracy and repeatability compared to other perfusion methods. It is the only platform proven reliable using 50% less gadolinium-based contrast agent for both 1.5T and 3T MRI scanners. Additionally, IB Neuro processes CT perfusion datasets, making it an indispensable tool in advanced neuroimaging. The platform integrates seamlessly into existing server and workstation applications, providing a comprehensive set of perfusion maps, including rCBV, cerebral blood flow (CBF), mean transit time (MTT), time to peak (TTP), and time to maximum (Tmax). It also automatically corrects for artifacts caused by contrast agent leakage across disruptions in the blood-brain barrier and exports perfusion parameter maps in DICOM compatible format. IB Neuro is used in national multi-center clinical trials and has been shown to distinguish between true tumor regrowth and normal treatment effects. It is compatible with multiple PACS systems and normalizes perfusion parameters to normal appearing white matter (NAWM) to facilitate comparisons across serial imaging studies. The platform also offers automated selection of arterial input functions (AIFs) for CBF and has longitudinal reporting capability. IB Neuro is available for both 1.5T and 3T MRI scanners and processes CT perfusion datasets, making it versatile for various imaging modalities.
