Summary

The eviDense UV Photometer is an on-deck module that integrates into liquid handlers to automate nucleic acid quantification, enhancing laboratory efficiency and data integrity.

Description

The eviDense UV Photometer is a compact, on-deck module designed to seamlessly integrate into liquid handling systems, enabling real-time absorbance measurements for nucleic acid quantification. Utilizing micro-cuvette technology, it measures absorbance at four wavelengths—230, 260, 280, and 340 nm—to determine nucleic acid concentration and purity. This integration allows for automated, non-destructive analysis, reducing manual intervention and enhancing data reliability. The device is compatible with eviEtte Micro Cuvettes and features a USB Type C communication interface. Its compact design ensures minimal footprint, fitting into standard SBS plate positions on the liquid handler deck. The eviDense UV Photometer operates within a temperature range of 15–30°C and a humidity range of 20–70% relative humidity (non-condensing). It is CE marked and cMETus certified, conforming to applicable EU directives and US and Canadian safety standards.
