• Organizations are very data-rich, but lots of organizations don’t know how to access the data they have accessible to them, nor do they know how to use them. PIH Health has tackled both of those to provide key performance-related information using both clinical information coming from dbMotion as well as financial information to help to drive various business decisions.
• We’re very proud of being the first and only country to implement such a solution in a national way. It’s a critical information system that our doctors can’t imagine being without.
• It used to be tedious to try and retrieve blood tests and very frequently we find ourselves repeating those tests because we can’t get access to them. With eCharts (dbMotion), we look them up and find them right away, so we save the province and ourselves a lot of money and time because we have access to those tests.
• The providers are easily able to access these documents from both the ambulatory setting and inpatient setting since it is part of the patient chart now. To be able to bring in that much data and documentation in an intuitive way is extremely valuable to our providers.
• When our physicians saw the uplifted interface of dbMotion, along with new functionality with Patient View, they knew we had to have this.
