User Reviews
- NextGen provides a user-friendly patient portal, allowing patients to view records, request refills, and message providers. Offers reminders, drug interaction alerts, and care gap notifications, which help improve care and reduce risk. However, slow response times, limited support availability, and issues going unresolved are concerns. I feel like I need to click 8 times to do something that should take 2. Updates may sometimes introduce bugs or disrupt previously working modules.
- NexGen support has improved, and you receive fast and helpful support. EHR is easy to train new users. We currently do not use the PM side but are in the testing stage to starting using at MSA. The patient portal is hard for the patients to use, hard to get all our patients enrolled to cut down on the phone usage.
- The software covers a nice procedure process and its customizable. However, there is lots of clicking to get where you want to go.
- NextGen is a user-friendly EHR solution and very customizable. NextGen allows for multiple customizations. We have customized templates which help our providers streamline their workflow. Our users state it is very simple to navigate. Definitely user friendly. We don't like the number of clicks it takes on various screens (i.e. medications). The nurses don't like that you can only be in one patient chart at a time.
- It's a robust and complete EHR, and includes everything a provider would need to care for their patients. Hosting support isn't always dependable but for the most part it works great.
- NextGen's templates and macros make charting a breeze, saving me tons of time and frustration. I would appreciate more flexibility to tailor the interface and workflows to my specific needs. The current setup feels somewhat generic at times.
- Faxing directly from the EMR, inbox is great. The complex user interface, lots of technical issues such a global memory issues, when trying to fax. Issues with templates.
- It has tons of features to use in billing but only UI needs to be improved as there are other competitors like ECW Kareo. Its UI should be more easy to understand all the options and its speed is a little laggy.
- It's easy and quick and talking about the workflow it's also easy but need some pictorial representation as well. Loading time is slow sometimes. This is the main thing which I have noticed.
- I love the ability to effectively manage the care of my patients while also improving overall care that our patients receive. The crystal reports could be better. Sometimes they are slow to pull information.
