• Alchemy is exceptionally easy to use and intuitive. The user interface is modern, and most users learn to perform tasks with little or no training. Additionally, I found that the administration and management of records and processes are easy to implement. Each LIMS system is customized to fit each organization, and Alchemy has a very clever framework to make this customization easy and fast. This is well supported by their excellent customer support team, who have been very helpful in implementation, integration, and training.
• The biggest downside to using Alchemy Cloud is that many of the 'out-of-the-box' features that other LIMS providers have don't exist in Alchemy. This is mitigated by the fact that it is so easy to configure these features to meet your exact needs; however, each of these features does take some development effort to build.
